Kota Saree
A Kota saree, or Kota Doria saree, is a lightweight and breathable handloom saree from Rajasthan known for its delicate, sheer texture and unique square-check pattern called a "khat". Traditionally made from a blend of cotton and silk yarns, it is woven on a traditional pit loom to create the distinctive check design. Kota sarees are comfortable, airy, and suitable for both casual and formal occasions, and are available in various colors and designs, such as block prints, zari work, and floral patterns.
