Taant Banarasi
A Tant Banarasi is a fusion of Bengal's lightweight Tant cotton saree with the rich design elements of a Banarasi silk saree, often featuring a primary fabric of tussar or cotton silk and traditional motifs. It combines the comfort of a Tant saree with the ornate feel of a Banarasi, making it a popular choice for a variety of occasions. While the traditional Tant is a simple cotton handloom saree, Tant Banarasi incorporates elaborate designs, intricate borders (like the Noksa Par), and decorative pallus characteristic of Banarasi weaving.
