The Bomkai saree is a handloom saree from Odisha, India, known for its intricate threadwork designs and vibrant colors. Traditionally woven from cotton by the "Bhulia" community, it is now also made with silk and can feature various motifs, such as temple borders, floral patterns, and mythological figures. The saree uses a combination of the Ikat and extra-weft weaving techniques, and it has a Geographical Indication (GI) tag for its authenticity.
